As engineers, we hold real responsibility over the systems we design, from architecture to tooling. That's why I'm committed to honing my craft: writing cleaner, faster, and more maintainable solutions that respect both the user and the machine.

I'm 20, born in Braga, Portugal, currently a third-year Software Engineering undergraduate at the University of Minho.

Outside campus I study jazz guitar. My favourite genres beyond jazz are neo-soul, blues, barber beats, shoegaze, and rock. Inspirations include Pat Metheny, Miguel Araújo, Ganso, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, Khruangbin, Sade, Masayoshi Takanaka, and Casiopea.

I'm also the co-founder of Solmåne, an alternative/indie/rock band, where I arrange, record, and perform original material with my fellow peers.

I believe my passion for this field stems from a childhood fascination with how things are built. I wanted to understand what lies behind the abstraction of highly advanced, seamless products. I owe this drive to my father, a software engineer who inspired me to always pursue greatness.

I always aim to push boundaries, moving forward, keep building things that matter. My goal is to pursue a master's in AI and machine learning and build an international career.
